# Source Sync

Source sync is available on the document detail page when a document is linked to one of the supported source providers:

* Google Docs / Drive
* Notion
* Confluence

## Disabled State

The sync action is disabled when the source integration is not connected or the document is missing the source metadata required for sync.

## Sync Behavior

When sync is available, the button label depends on whether versioning is enabled:

* Without versioning: **Sync from source**
* With versioning: **Sync and create draft**

## Versioned Documents

If document versioning is enabled, sync creates a new draft version from the remote source so the live document stays unchanged until you review and publish it.
