# User Management

The Users page lets admins manage internal Admin Center access. User management is based on a fixed set of built-in roles and invitation emails.

## Access

* **Admin** role is required to manage users

## What You Can Do

* Invite a teammate by email
* Choose one of the built-in roles
* Resend an invitation
* Change a user's role
* Suspend or archive a user

## Built-In Roles

* **Admin**: full access
* **Account Manager**: account, contact, access-request, visitor, analytics, and Trust Center management
* **Content Manager**: document and content management, including certifications, subprocessors, knowledge base, NDA templates, and custom tabs
* **Viewer**: limited read-oriented access for selected areas such as analytics and evaluation flows

## Invitation Flow

1. Open **Users**
2. Click **Invite user**
3. Enter the teammate's email address
4. Select a role
5. Send the invitation

The recipient receives an email and completes setup on the `accept-invitation` flow before signing in for the first time.

## User Status

The page displays four statuses:

* `active`
* `invited`
* `suspended`
* `archived`

Use these states to distinguish live users from pending invites and disabled accounts.

## Day-To-Day Management

From the Users table you can:

* Review each user's email, role, and status
* Re-send an invitation for users who are still in `invited`
* Change a user's role
* Suspend or archive access when needed

## Practical Guidance

* Use **Admin** sparingly e.g. for super users, developers, etc.
* Give **Account Manager** to people managing customer access and engagement e.g. sales engineers, account executives, etc.
* Give **Content Manager** to people maintaining Trust Center content e.g. security leads, compliance officers, etc.
* Use **Viewer** when someone only needs limited visibility e.g. executives
