Source Sync

Source sync is available on the document detail page when a document is linked to one of the supported source providers:

• Google Docs / Drive
• Notion
• Confluence

Disabled State

The sync action is disabled when the source integration is not connected or the document is missing the source metadata required for sync.

Sync Behavior

When sync is available, the button label depends on whether versioning is enabled:

• Without versioning: Sync from source
• With versioning: Sync and create draft

Versioned Documents

If document versioning is enabled, sync creates a new draft version from the remote source so the live document stays unchanged until you review and publish it.
